I wish those damn Golf spammers would quit knocking down recent posts! If you assclowns want to post your garbage, do so in an area that hasn't been touched since last year. Maybe then ppl will give a crap about your trashy products.

*¤~Spoiler Alert!~¤*  in the film, we see a pampered young Charles befriending a blue girl named Raven (Mystique). Next, a young Erik being badly mistreated by Sgt. Sebastian Shaw at a Natzi internment camp like Auschwitz or Soribor. Then it fast forwards & we see various aspects of them maturing through the years, when one day they're paths cross as they both are united w/CIA operative; Moira McTaggert in order to stop Sebatians "Hellfire Club" (White Queen, Azazel & Riptide) from creating a Nucular Apocolypse.

Shaws plans are reminisant of Magneto's in previous incarnations. While the film itself pays homage to old "Thunderbirds" & "James Bond/007" films. With one exception...a character commits Suicide! That's a little too dark for a Marvel film, but in this Summer of blockbusters i guess the end justifys the means. Enjoy the action true believers! Rank: 85 out of 100 or 8.5 out of 10 stars.

Sorry bout the rather short sentance B4, my phones battery was dying & needed charging. Anyway... These characters origins aren't rly told all that much in this film, except Henry P.McCoy (Beast) who doesn't rly start off as a mutant, just a scientist w/clubbed feet & amazing acrobatic agility. When trying to figure out a formula to fix his abnormality, he accidently becomes a blue Gorrilla-type creature! Now the comic history of Sean Cassidy (Banshee) thes into that of Xaviers. You see, Sean's evil brother; Black Tom joins forces w/Xavier's step-brother; Cain Marko (Juggernaut) who is not rly a Mutant since he got his powers from a mystical krystal. Alex Summers (Havok) is Scott/Slim (Cyclops) brother & both are sons of Corsair (leader of a group of space pirates called the Starjammers). Scott's wife is Jean Grey (Marvel Girl/Phoenix), Alex's girlfriend is Polaris. The reason why Bobby Drake (Iceman) & Warren Worthington (Angel/Archangel) are replaced is because they're stories were allready told in first 3.

Anyways, hope that clears-up any misconception as to why this film isn't comic accurate & shuts-up various online reviewers who think that this is a reboot, much like Garfields new Amazing Spider-man film & U2's "turn off the light" stageplay which are & will be ignored reboots!

For fans of Wolverine... don't fret, Hugh Jackman makes a Cameo as the old canknucklehead himself. Hell, even Rebecca Romjin pops-in for a few seconds ie the role that made her famous! But it's Riptide & Banshee who really stole the show. (Btw, first 3 minutes were actually taken from Singer's 2000 X-Men film).

Btw... Angel gains codename: Tempest & Polaris (Lorna Dane) once worked w/Havok (Alex Summers), Multiple Man (Jamie Madrox in X, Strong Guy, Random & Wolvesbane (Rahene Fox) who was played by Victoria Pratt in "Mutant X".
