I like many others were actually kicked out.. I saw a few people getting ejected and I didnt know why. But i was thrown by another individual down the muddy hill in mansfield. And then literally, 9 event staff came after me.. I didnt even hit anyone, nothing at all.. and they rushed to escort me out for doing NOTHING! I will NEVER go back there again. and i hope ozzfest is never there again and hope they stay away from this venue. the guards there were a bunch of jerks. I was treated VERY unfairly and they said they would arrest me if I stayed on the property.. how much BS is this!

How much BS are you not mentioning?  We all know that the event staff wouldn't do something like that.  Anybody that says they would is also leaving out a bunch of information.

Heavy handedness is the hallmrk of crowd "control" psychology.

They percieved a matter that deemed it necessary for them to intervene and "save" the potential colateral victims from gettin blindsided in your albeit unintentional mudsliding.

They set an example by their overkill behavior. ( it`s also meant for others to see as a deterent)

Not exactly a good example but they act in a mob rules, pack hunter mentality.

You were just one of the pawns tackled and ushered out in stormtooper fashoin, fueling their self import.

Give a steroid crazed brute a yellow polo shirt with "STAFF" printed on the back and you have created a monster.

Venues need to be very careful how all staff that interact with the public actually make physical contact with them.

In NJ people get killed by security guards all the time....there was a Grateful Dead show where a kid named Adam was killed by staff....dragged out by the turnpike and tossed over a bridge to his death.

Bouncers are brought up on charges for murder a lot these days......

Events need security, not oppression paid for by the fans.....where were they in keeping you from being shoved?

This could have been a tragedy...a $13 beer may well have been spilled mister!

I do have to say in all fairness at a LiveNation venue I have seen some of the most INCREDIBLY PROFESSIONAL security people who really made the event much better and it was actually entertaining watching them do thier thing.
I saw this one dude at Ozzfest `06 I think,....then he was working over the river at another gig when BLS played in Philly one year. Same professional style.
If all staff were like THAT dude...all would be well my friends...all would be well.

There's more to this story, there always is.

You seem like the idiot who was bitching out the security and calling them a bunch of fags and whatnot, and when I asked him why, he told me it was because they wouldn't let him bring a baseball-sized rock inside. The guy was an idiot, but I'm sure he'll be complaining about it somewhere.

At any rate, what I bet happened was they saw you sliding down the hill, went over to talk to you, and you decided to act like a jackass. The vast majority of people who get kicked out are those who act like jackasses to the police or the security.

When will people realize that being polite and cooperating usually tends to help your case?

like i said i was thrown by another individual. jackass, no. a woman came up to me and told me not to, then i was rushed buy a ton of people, and who i assume was head of security acted like the jackass, not me. was no bitching by me at all, and i didnt get in anyones face or start anything with them. Yeah they jave a job to do, i realize that, but it was totally unacceptable! and then the police acting the way they did, totally unnecessary, said they would arrest me for trespassing if I stayed there. I've been to this venue probly 40+ times, never seen it run like that before. I wont ever go to this place again, I will take my money elsewhere.
