I worked a lot last month at my job, and won some contest where I got a free plasma screen TV.
Because I worked so much, I got a $600 bonus.
I was trying to think of what to spend it on (aside from the STUPID amount of bills I have) and I decided to get a camcorder, software, and make a documentary about American Pit Bull Terriers. I used to rescue/foster them, and I want to make a documentary to show that they aren't bad dogs.
I'm interviewing families that own them, fosters, and shelters. We're covering the history of the breed, experiences with them, their fall from grace, how they are viewed in the media, fact vs fiction, and the future of the breed as well.
What do you guys think?

That sounds like great plan. It's the owner, not the breed or dog.

Not entirely true.  Some breeds have stronger instincts to do one thing or another than other breeds.
I hate, therefore, I am.

Pit Bulls were bred to pull carts and be farm dogs.
So they pull leashes pretty hard, but in the american temperament test society, they score really high for good temperament. Better than Labs, Goldens, and Shepherds.

I do disagree. I feel and it's entirely the owner and how the dog is trained. Some of the sweetest dogs I have ever met were pit bulls who are to be the worst and most mean. I've seen pit bulls play so delicately with my dog when she was a puppy it would make you laugh hysterically.

I feel it has a lot to do with one of my favorite Psychologists. I'm busting out my Psych major on this

"      Give me a dozen healthy infants, well-formed, and my own specified world to bring them up in and I'll guarantee to take any one at random and train him to become any type of specialist I might select ? doctor, lawyer, artist, merchant-chief and, yes, even beggar-man and thief, regardless of his talents, penchants, tendencies, abilities, vocations, and race of his ancestors. I am going beyond my facts and I admit it, but so have the advocates of the contrary and they have been doing it for many thousands of years."

I feel that the behaviorism studies of John Watson can hold true to the behaviors of animals as well, specifically dogs. We see this every day with dogs trained as seeing eye helpers, helpers for the disabled, therapy dogs, police canines, search and rescue, guard dogs, and dogs trained for fighting as well. Some are trained for good, and some are trained for bad, and they excel in what they were trained to do, however, none of these dogs were born seeing eye dogs, born therapy dogs, born police dogs, or born fighters.
Of course you do have your individuals that are unsound. This is something that occurs in any group, be it animals or people.
