Personally, I believe the albums Gillan did with sabbath & purple were better. It should be obvious to everyone that Glenn is a better singer, but when it comes to picking who I like better it's near impossible.
I was hoping that I could get some insight from the ozzfester specialists on which they like more and why to help me make my own decision.

to be fair, I've seen Ian Gillian perform live way more times than Glenn Hughes
so I'm leaning more towards Ian because I love his stage presence.  vocally, Glenn is more disciplined and precise, but Ian has a jazzy, emotional quality to his voice that can roll with the live performance better.

Totally agree.
So who's album did you like better with sabbath & purple?

purple, hands down...  when we saw Ian sing with Sabbath they concentrated heavily on the Born Again album which was great, but when he sang Ozzy/Sabbath or Dio/Sabbath it was weird.  him singing Heaven & Hell was awesome, though.
