is there a problem with bands actually playing INSIDE the city of Chicago?
I can understand not wanting to play Tinley in the summer but we've got dozens
of decent theaters of all sizes to choose from.  Stadiums too big?  Aragon too small?

The Venue is actually in Gary, Indiana, about an hour outside of the Chicago city limits
there are free shuttle busses that go there from a mall near me and a couple hotels downtown
It' be hilarious riding there and back with all the gambling grannies going to the casino

I'm deciding whether I make a trip back home for the san bernardino gig or watch them in oakland. I might just end up doing both

Somebody's got their cities mixed-up.  The "Allen Event Center" is not in Dallas.  It is actually in a city about 20 minutes north of Dallas called "Allen".  I've got a 1/2 brother and a 1/2 sister that live there.
