If you want to make sure you get into the movie, having them in advance is strongly suggested. There is only the one showing on the 24th so you won't be able to catch the movie later that night if it is sold out like you could with another movie.

no we didn't.  there were about 20 people in the theater.    :-[

got tix about an hour in advance, got to the Regal on Western just as it began.  literally.  we sat down and it started like we planned it that way.

it starts.  volume waaaay too low.  we see the beginning, Ozzy's 60th bday party  (its my birthday too, ya!)
the film goes for a little while and stops and JUMPS TO THE END OF THE MOVIE! obviously epilogue stuff....
it stops.  there's a blank screen with the Windows 95ish screen with the Start button at the bottom.

it starts again, backed up a bit and a guy let a chick know its loud enough.
hey gnomes! they showed footage of the Wellington show with Zakk.  were you there??

truly fucking poigniant.  sorry to pull a big word out but it fits.

seeing ozzy's honest, naked (yes, naked!)  recollection of his past as far as he could remember it was soul baring

Soooo, did you like it?

.... yeah.. I'm still trying to figure that one out.  but I didn't hate it.  it's a documentary.  it fills in some of the blanks, like his relationship with Thelma and Louis and Jessica.  but it leaves a lot out and kind of stops right before he gets his latest band.  my sister said at one point it started sounding like one big AA meeting.  now that the fog has lifted off of Ozzy he looks back at photos and videos trying to remember everything he's done.

the footage of Randy was great, some I've never seen before.  I shed a few tears watching Rudy Sarzo's interview about playing with him.  there could have been more interviews with other old band members, though.

true Ozzy fans need to see this movie to see what he's been through and how he got to where he is today.
